Good Friday Worship Service | April 10 | 6 pm

Join us online for our Good Friday worship service at 6 pm focusing on Forgiveness with Patrick Grover.

If you could go back in a “time machine” to the first century and see Jesus at work, which event would you choose to see – firsthand?

Would your choice be an event from Holy week? Easter? Palm Sunday, maybe? I’m sure many of us might have hesitations to view Jesus’ death on a cross. However, Jesus’ death on the cross is truly the fulfillment of what God the Father had planned. God was working on the rescue plan for humanity, ever since the fall, in the Garden of Eden. How would you have reacted if you were there, seeing it all unfold? What is most amazing to me, is to see Jesus’ reaction to those who crucified Him. His demonstration of God’s mercy and love, poured out to us in this sublime prayer of forgiveness, is the epitome of God’s grace.

Amidst the ugly, horrific and despicable event of the cross; amidst our own sin and rebellion toward God – we see the most amazing display of love and forgiveness imaginable. It is offered to the most undeserving of us. How great is our God!

Maundy Thursday Worship Service | April 9 | 6 pm

Join us online at 6 pm for our Maundy Thursday worship service focusing on healing led by Rev. Karel Coppock.

Maundy Thursday celebrates Jesus’ last meal with his disciples before his crucifixion. We will center on the Great Exchange that Jesus enacted, giving us his broken body so we can be made whole. “Surely” writes Isaiah “He took up our infirmities…and by his stripes we are healed” (53.4,5). We will also be praying for healing and protection.

Groceries for the Elderly Sign-up

As our West Side community adapts to statewide stay-at-home requirements, many have worried about the elderly and those unable to shop for groceries. Though most of our members have family nearby, some may not. If you are willing to deliver groceries, you can sign up below or email Our deacons are attempting to contact everyone who may have a need. If you do sign up, please be aware that you may not be contacted as sometimes the number of volunteers exceeds the requests. In that case, we simply want to thank you for your willingness and prayers. May God bless each of us as we attempt to reach out in this time of need.

John Michael Hinton Experience | March 7 | 6 PM & 8 PM

Win the Right by Deepening a Friendship.

Invite a friend, a couple, or a family to a fun night out on Saturday, March 7. You might want to catch a bite to eat before the show.

JMH (John Michael Hinton) is going to blow your mind with illusions, card tricks, humor, and his own belief about fake magic and real magic (God is real).

We are praying that something as simple as deepening friendships and introducing your friends to our West Side Church family in a fun and non-threatening way will break down misconceptions and fears about the Christian faith.

They will even get invited to come back on Sunday morning (March 8) to hear about real miracles.

Two shows only: 6 pm & 8 pm – a value of $40 per ticket – at West Side Church South Sanctuary (603 Wright Ave – Richland – the 2-story building).

Limited tickets for each show – get yours in the Church Office during the week (M-F 8:30 am-5:00 pm), on Wednesday nights (5:15-7:30 pm), or on Sunday mornings (8:15-11:15 am).

West Siders will pay $10 for an individual ticket and $20 for a family (the money received will go back to fund future outreach).

Guest tickets are free.

We are praying that we will have as many guests come to this fun night out as West Siders. In order for that prayer to become a reality, all of us are going to need to invite our friends and family.

Men’s Breakfast | March 7 | 8-10 AM

Come join us for an opportunity to Love Deeply and Laugh Regularly as we have breakfast together on Saturday Morning, Mar. 7, at 8:00 am in WS North Lobby (615 Wright Ave – Richland).  We will have a special guest John Michael Hinton with us and you won’t want to miss it.

Please RSVP to help us know how best to prepare.
